A Pennsylvania man is facing multiple drunk driving charges after allegedly hitting a parked car, overturning his boat trailer, continuing to drag his overturned boat trailer behind his vehicle, and resisting arrest. The man has not yet stated whether he plans to defend against the DUI charges, or whether he and the prosecuting attorneys are working on plea agreement deal.

According to police reports, the 40-year-old Pennsylvania man was attempting to remove his pontoon boat from the water at Holt's Landing State Park in Millville, Delaware, when he got into an argument with an unknown person. When a Fish & Wildlife Enforcement officer approached the scene in a patrol boat, the man allegedly fled the scene in his sport utility vehicle, which was towing the pontoon boat.

The Fish & Wildlife officer alerted members of the state police, who sought out the man and attempted to pull the vehicle over. The man then allegedly struck a parked pickup truck, but did not stop.

When the man made a sharp turn at a high speed, his pontoon overturned. However, he continued driving, dragging his upside-down boat along behind him and likely causing it great damage.

At some point, the man reportedly jumped out of his vehicle in an alleged attempt to evade police on foot. He was soon apprehended, but police reports indicate that he resisted officers both at the scene and later at the hospital. Police used a stun gun on the man in order to take a blood sample from him.

The man was then arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including DUI, reckless driving, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, driving at an unreasonable speed, and disregarding a police officer's signal.
